Hetton Village Atlas

Are you a resident of Hetton-le-Hole or the surrounding area? Do you want to find out more about your area? If so you may be interested in what was found by the Village Atlas project.

This project celebrated the historic environment of Hetton-le-Hole, using archaeology, historic buildings and landscapes. It linked with the biodiversity and geodiversity to provide a full understanding of the environment.

The Village Atlas is now complete and over 200 copies have been sold. A further reprint in March 2015 was undertaken to supply the demand for copies of this work. The online version is now available from the Hetton Local and Natural History Society website. You will also find photographs from the Village Atlas events and other information at Village Atlas
